EKART is a consumer courier service available online. This enables the consumer to book a door-step pick-up online for courier at a desired time slot. Ekart courier travels via reliable and traceable supply chains right from warehouse to customers’ door-step, with a real-time track and trace facility.

Parcelled

Parcelled is the new way to courier stuff sitting at your home. Parcelled doesn’t have any outlets or branches because they don’t want customers to go out of their house to ship anything. Parcelled is based on the concept of convenience and is serving customers at varied places. Parcelled provides their clients a very simple and easy way to send couriers from their home with the customized packages suitable to each pocket. Parcelled delivers goods pan India covering up to 20,000 pincodes. While such a facility was previously available to commercial customers, Parcelled is the first mover in the home segment.


Online Directory

JustDial

Founded by V S S Mani in 1996, JustDial is a ‘one stop shop’ online directors where surfers are assisted with day-to-day and exclusive planning and purchasing activities. The classified listing brand provides pan-India search services via the Phone, Web, Mobile and SMS and has perhaps the strongest hold on local business information pan India, due to their business mapping efforts that have spanned over a decade. JustDial services have also been extended to making orders and reservations for leisure, medical, financial, travel and domestic purposes.

UrbanClap

UrbanClap is an app-based service marketplace that connects customers to service professionals. Founded in 2014 by Raghav Chandra, Abhiraj Bhal, Varun Khaitan, it has raised $37 million till date in funding from Bessemer Venture Partner, Accel Partners, SAIF Partners, Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal (Snapdeal), and Ratan Tata. UrbanClap acquired HandyHome, a Mumbai-based after sales service platform in January 2016. UrbanClap is redefining the facility classified segment in India by offering a plethora of services, previously unavailable to the home consumer.

Lookup

Lookup is a free and secure messaging app that gives shopper’s access to anything on demand from local shops and provides businesses the opportunity to grow. Lookup facilitates users to deliver products, make bookings and more. Lookup hyperlinks every local store in the nearby vicinity with a simple chat app which gives user synchronous connection to the vendors on the platform. With a one million strong customer base, Lookup is looking up!

AskMeBazaar

Although the latter half of 2016 saw the AskMe brand closing down due to operational issues, the fact is that AskMeBazaar (owned by Getit Infoservices Private Limited) still retains its recall and admiration amongst its consumers and other stakeholders. AskMeBazaar did make an earnest effort to recreate the great Indian shopping experience online. Known for its simple, easy to use buying process, the online retailer’s presence will be missed in the Indian marketplace.
